For universities & placement cells

Payments education built for academic calendars and placement evidence.

From a two-hour campus masterclass to assessed certificates and semester electives, PPI adds the practical payments layer that academic programmes rarely cover.

    Institution journey

Begin with shared awareness. Build what works.

Start with a low-risk campus session, prove demand through a certificate pilot, then move into core and semester-length delivery.

    01

    Free campus masterclass

    2 hours · minimum 60 students

A practical first look at how payments move, where careers sit and what the industry expects.

    02

    Certificate course pilot

    24–36 hours · from ₹7,000 per student

An assessed pilot for one department, delivered by practitioners and mapped to the academic calendar.

    03

    Core and semester programmes

    96 hours · priced on a meeting

Core programmes and semester-length courses shaped around departments, credits and institutional outcomes.

Cohorts run from 200 students, with 500 as the usual target. Certificate programmes are quoted from ₹7,000 to ₹13,000 plus GST.

    Train the faculty

Build institutional capacity alongside the cohort.

    01

    Faculty development

Build practical payments knowledge, fintech operations fluency and the language used by industry teams.
    02

    Leadership development

Give academic leaders an applied view of payment systems, market change and programme governance.

    For the placement cell

    Evidence you can defend internally.

    01

    Assessment, not attendance

Knowledge checks, an applied capstone and attendance produce a record shared at cohort close.
    02

    Credentials employers can check

Every certificate carries a unique ID and QR code resolving to a public record.
    03

    Practitioners lead every cohort

Delivery comes from Payomatix practitioners working inside a PCI-DSS Level 1 payment gateway.
    04

    Measured learner progress

Payments IQ scores at the start and end show anonymised cohort movement in the recap.

    Assessment

    How certificates are assessed.

    • 40% · Knowledge assessment
A timed theory or MCQ component administered through the learning platform.
    • 40% · Capstone project
A report or slide deck presented to the trainer and an institution faculty panel.
    • 20% · Attendance
The institution-approved attendance threshold also acts as an eligibility gate.

Final components, weightages, grading bands and pass thresholds are agreed with the partner institution before commencement.

    Sample capstone brief

Build a payment stack, then defend every decision.

Design the payment stack for a mobile-first D2C food brand expecting ₹15 lakh in monthly volume, an average order value of ₹450 and a 45-day launch with a lean team.

Payment methods, gateway selection and fraud controls
    Checkout, settlement, refunds and reconciliation
A written report, slide deck and panel defence

Before and after: Students take the Payments IQ at the start and end; anonymised score movement is included in the cohort recap.

    What academic teams ask first.
