    Refund Policy

Refund eligibility, timelines, and processing for programs purchased directly on onlineacademy.payomatix.com.

    Last updated: 10 August 2026

This Refund Policy applies to programs purchased directly by individual learners through onlineacademy.payomatix.com. It does not override any refund terms explicitly agreed in a signed institutional MoU or corporate agreement, which take precedence for those cohorts.

    1. Refund Schedule

    a. Before LMS access is granted: If you request a refund before your LMS access/course materials have been issued to you, you are entitled to a full refund (100%), including any payment gateway charges, since no content has been delivered. In practice, this tier applies mainly to live/cohort‑based programs where enrolment and cohort start are separated by days or weeks. For self‑paced online courses, LMS access is typically issued within minutes of payment, so 1(b)'s 80% tier is, practically speaking, the highest refund most self‑paced learners will actually receive.

    b. After LMS access is granted: Once access has been issued, refund eligibility follows the schedule below, counted from the date and time of payment:

    Time Since Payment

    Within 48 hours of payment

    Refund Amount

    80% of the amount paid

    Time Since Payment

Within 5 calendar days of payment

    Refund Amount

    50% of the amount paid

    Time Since Payment

After 5 calendar days of payment

    Refund Amount

    No refund (0%)

This schedule applies uniformly across self‑paced online courses and instructor‑led/live cohort programs purchased directly on onlineacademy.payomatix.com.

    c. Where PPI cancels or reschedules a program (see Cancellation Policy §2), you are entitled to a full refund (100%), with no deduction of gateway or processing charges, regardless of how much time has passed since payment — the schedule above applies only to cancellations initiated by the learner.

    2. Non‑Refundable Items

    • Any amount already paid to third‑party guest practitioners, assessment vendors, or certification bodies on your behalf
    • Fees for programs completed, or for which a certificate has already been issued
    • Fees for programs enrolled through a partner institution or corporate agreement — see Section 8

    3. Processing Fee

Where a refund is approved under Section 1(b) (learner‑initiated, post‑access), payment gateway charges incurred on the original transaction are non‑recoverable and may be deducted from the refundable amount in addition to the applicable schedule deduction. No such deduction applies under Section 1(a) or 1(c).

    4. GST on Refunds

Refund percentages under Section 1 are applied to the base (pre‑GST) fee amount. The GST component is refunded or adjusted in proportion to the base amount refunded, in accordance with applicable GST law; where GST has already been remitted to the government for a period in which a refund is later processed, the adjustment will be reflected as a credit note or in the manner permitted under applicable tax law.

    5. Alternate Refund Route

If the original payment instrument (card, UPI ID, or bank account) used for payment is closed, expired, or otherwise unreachable at the time a refund is processed, we will contact you to arrange an alternate refund route — typically a direct bank transfer — on production of acceptable proof that the alternate bank account belongs to you (e.g., a cancelled cheque or bank statement in your name).

    6. How to Request a Refund

Email institute@payomatix.com with your registered email ID, program name, and transaction ID/reference number. Refund requests are reviewed within 5 working days of receipt. If you have already raised a chargeback with your bank, please see the Chargebacks clause in our Terms and Conditions §5 before doing so — contacting us directly is usually faster.

    7. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 7–14 working days, depending on your bank/payment provider's processing timelines. PPI is not responsible for delays caused by the payment gateway, bank, or card network.

    8. Institution‑ and Corporate‑Paid Programs

For cohorts paid for by a university or corporate partner under an MoU (rather than by the individual learner), refunds/adjustments are governed by the cancellation and payment clauses of that MoU, not this page.

    9. Placement/Internship‑Linked Fees

Because placement and internship support is offered on a best‑endeavour facilitation basis and is never guaranteed, non‑achievement of placement or internship is not, by itself, grounds for a refund of program fees.
